Prevention and Risk Reduction

The risk of developing an age-related neurological disorder is not the same for everyone. Genetics, demographic, environment, and lifestyle choices all work together to determine an individual’s level of risk. By expanding our understanding of the risk factors for neurodegenerative disease and stroke, and coordinating with basic research, we will be able to develop new strategies to help people reduce their risk of developing an ageing-related brain disorder.

BRNZ is dedicated to increasing awareness of the risk factors for neurodegenerative disorders, and providing advice on sustainable ways of helping people reduce their risk so that they can live longer, healthier lives.
